Hi, I’m Kristen.

I’m a certified birth & postpartum doula, lactation advocate, childbirth educator, and the one-woman show behind Allora Birth & Wellness. I’m so glad you’re taking a break from your search to learn a little more about me!

As a doula, my goal is to empower birthers to find their inner strength and feel like a total badass. I believe in the body’s natural ability and instinct to give birth, and I serve as your sideline coach and cheerleader throughout your labor and postpartum journey. With non-judgmental, individualized support that is specific and culturally relevant to each person’s preferences, I provide physical and emotional comfort to help you to have a safe and satisfying birth and postpartum experience. I want every person to have the experience they desire, whatever that looks like.

  • Planning a hospital birth with an OB? Having a homebirth with your midwife?

  • Scheduling a C-section? Or set on a water birth?

  • Definitely know you’re getting an epidural? Or definitely know you’re NOT?

  • Know exactly what you want? Don’t even know where to begin?

  • Do you have a supportive partner? Or are you doing this solo?

  • Is this your first baby? Maybe your fifth?

Cool! Wherever you’re at, and whatever your experience looks like, I’m SO there for you!

Outside of birth work, you'll find me sipping local coffee, exploring South Metro neighborhoods with my husband, or hiking with my goldendoodle, Lucy. For those of you into personality typing, I’m an Enneagram 6w7, aquarius, and ENFJ. Being welcomed into your birth space is truly a gift to me. I look forward to getting to know you!
